Reciprocity is another pathway to SLP licensure in Minnesota. The process allows those holding a current and unrestricted SLP license in another state or territory with equivalent licensure requirements, to attain a license in Minnesota. Below is a list of requirements for each applicant.
The application will be processed within 30 days of the Board receiving all necessary documents. Continue to check the Health Occupations Program Credential Lookup database daily to find out if your license has been issued. Any questions that arise during the process should be directed to (651) 201-4200 or sent to health.slpa@state.mn.us.
