Hawaii does not require SLPs to obtain any continuing education (CE) credits to maintain licensure. However, it is still a good idea to take courses, especially if you plan to move to another state and practice. The majority of states have CE requirements SLPs must meet for licensure.
Fortunately, the Hawaii Speech-Language-Hearing Association (HSHA) offers ASHA-approved CE activities for anyone interested in learning new developments made in the field.
